Apply in confidence →Join our Commercial Litigation Practice in Los Angeles, representing clients in high-stakes business disputes across a wide range of industries. Our team handles all phases of litigation—from pre-litigation counseling and strategic planning to trial and appellate proceedings—including contract disputes, class actions, business torts, shareholder and partnership disputes, antitrust litigation, and intellectual property litigation.
In this role, you will develop litigation strategy and draft substantive pleadings for matters globally, spanning data protection, defamation, IP infringement, consumer protection, contract, and other disputes. You will also guide clients through regulatory investigations by international data protection authorities and other agencies, advise on risk assessments for new products, policies, and legislation, and analyze global laws impacting social media companies, including intermediary liability, hate speech, and defamation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting pleadings, briefs, client advice, regulatory submissions, and other written advocacy
- Overseeing on-the-ground counsel to implement strategy
- Conducting global legal research and presenting analyses of laws affecting social media platforms
- Advising clients on compliance strategies and potential outcomes of regulatory investigations
- Supporting litigation across multiple stages, including pre-litigation assessment and witness preparation
- Two to five years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm
- Juris Doctor or equivalent degree
- Admitted to the California bar and in good standing
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with excellent drafting abilities
- Experience supporting litigation across multiple stages, including pre-litigation assessment, pleadings, briefing, and witness preparation
- Ability to synthesize complex legal concepts into clear, practical client advice for non-legal stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a pragmatic, commercially minded approach
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a creative approach to new legal issues
- Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently while contributing to a team
- Commitment to excellent client service
- Foreign language proficiency (German, French, Italian, and/or Hebrew) a plus
