Associate, TMT/IP – Singapore

We are seeking a junior associate (0–2 PQE, E&W scale) to join a regional TMT/IP practice based in Singapore. The team advises clients across sectors on technology, data, and intellectual property matters, with a strong emphasis on transactional work.

The role offers exposure to a broad mix of matters, including digital infrastructure transactions (such as data centres, telecom towers, fibre, and satellites); technology, data, and IP-driven transactions and M&A support (including due diligence, transitional service agreements, licensing, data sharing and analytics, technology procurement and build, outsourcing, and service arrangements); and advisory work covering data privacy, cybersecurity, tech regulation, and IP commercialisation and protection strategy.

As part of a regional practice with colleagues in multiple Asian and Middle Eastern offices, you will collaborate across time zones and work with clients throughout the region. The team welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds, including those with transactional experience in M&A, finance, infrastructure projects, commercial teams, or litigation who can bring transferable skills.

• 0–2 years PQE (E&W scale) with excellent academic credentials.
• Common law qualification preferred (e.g., England & Wales, Singapore, Australia).
• Prior transactional and commercial contracts training or experience is essential; digital infrastructure background is a bonus.
• Strong legal foundation, self-starter with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills; ability to work under pressure and as a proactive team player.
• Willingness to work regionally and across time zones with cultural awareness.
