Bad Faith & Insurance Coverage Partner — Insurance, Costa Mesa

Established national firm seeks a partner-level insurance coverage attorney to join its Costa Mesa office within a busy Insurance practice. The role focuses on bad-faith and coverage matters for insurers across first-party property and general liability lines.

Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing policy language, preparing coverage opinions, handling coverage litigation and related motions, taking depositions, and participating in mediations and arbitrations. The team represents carriers, reinsurers, TPAs, brokers, and adjustment firms in state and federal courts.

• 8–15 years' experience in insurance coverage and litigation
• Proven experience with first-party property and general liability coverage analysis and coverage opinions
• Litigation experience including depositions, motion drafting/argument, and court hearings
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Admission to the California Bar required
