An established national banking and finance practice is seeking a Principal or Senior Associate to join its market-leading Energy and Infrastructure sector group in London, with a focus on deepening expertise and growing market share in the capital.

The role centres on energy and infrastructure finance, covering the full transaction lifecycle from early-stage structuring through to financial close. Underlying assets span renewables — including solar and battery storage — as well as digital infrastructure and telecommunications. Work includes SPV, acquisition and corporate financings for a mix of lender, borrower, sponsor and corporate clients, alongside drafting and negotiating facilities agreements and security documents and negotiating intercreditor arrangements.

You will collaborate closely with corporate, commercial, real estate and restructuring teams, and with overseas counsel where relevant, to deliver an integrated service to clients. With a consistent deal flow, this offers a strong platform to take on matter responsibility and direct client engagement, plus opportunities to contribute to client development initiatives within the wider sector group. Longer-term progression is aligned with the firm's strategic goals for the sector.

At least 4 years' PQE with strong bank debt finance experience
Focus on, or demonstrable exposure to, energy and infrastructure finance
Experience liaising with lenders, borrowers, intermediaries and/or investors across the full transaction lifecycle
Naturally inquisitive, proactive and passionate about the practice area
