Capital Markets Attorney (2nd–6th Year) — New York

An internationally recognized corporate practice is seeking associates with two to six years of capital markets and public securities experience to join its New York team.

The role centers on public securities work, including representing companies and underwriters in IPOs and other equity or equity-linked transactions, with particular emphasis on the technology, consumer/retail, and life sciences sectors. Associates also advise public companies on corporate governance, SEC and exchange reporting, and compliance matters.

Candidates should be comfortable managing client relationships and handling the day-to-day workflow demands of sophisticated clients in a fast-paced practice.

• Two to six years of capital markets and public securities experience
• Experience representing companies and underwriters in public securities offerings, including IPOs and equity or equity-linked transactions
• Experience advising public companies on corporate governance and SEC/exchange reporting and compliance
• Prior experience in the capital markets department of a national or international law firm
• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle varied workflow demands
