Role Overview: We are seeking a licensed attorney with at least 5 years of experience in capital markets transactions to join our leading global law firm as a Capital Markets Resource Attorney. In this non-billable, client-facing support role (you will not work directly for clients or bill time), you will enhance our marketing and business development efforts, strengthen know-how creation and sharing, and enable our practicing attorneys to be more informed, efficient, and successful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and stay current on legal and regulatory developments affecting the capital markets practice group.
  • Develop topics for and assist in preparing client alerts, white papers, and external-facing tools and resources.
  • Create and maintain internal practice resources to facilitate know-how exchange and client interaction.
  • Build and update archives of work product and templates, ensuring they reflect current law and industry standards.
  • Support coordination of speaking engagements, webinars, and related materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on branding, presence, RFP responses, and business development initiatives.
  • Work with Professional Development to enhance skills training and firmwide education.
  • Partner with Information Services and Practice Innovation to evaluate and adopt new technologies for efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, SEC reporting requirements, and related matters.
  • Knowledge of technology and life sciences industries is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, drafting, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
