Our client, a leading global law firm with offices across the US, Europe, and Asia, is seeking a Capital Markets Resource Attorney to join its premier Capital Markets practice group. This role is designed to enhance the group's marketing and business development efforts, strengthen substantive know-how, and enable practicing attorneys to work more efficiently and effectively. The attorney will not work directly for firm clients and will not bill time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and staying current on legal and regulatory developments relevant to capital markets
  • Developing topics and assisting with client alerts, white papers, and external-facing resources
  • Creating and maintaining internal practice resources and know-how archives
  • Updating forms and templates to reflect current legal developments and industry terms
  • Coordinating speaking engagements, webinars, and marketing materials
  • Supporting business development efforts, including RFPs and branding initiatives
  • Collaborating with professional development, information services, and practice innovation teams

The ideal candidate will be a licensed attorney with at least 5 years of experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions, with a strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements. Success in this role requires mastery of the substantive area, a collaborative mindset, excellent communication and drafting skills, and confidence as a presenter. The firm works extensively with technology and life sciences companies, so familiarity with these industries is a plus.

This position offers a hybrid work environment, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

  • Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills
  • Confident and engaging presenter
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with strong intellectual ability and judgment
  • Knowledge of technology and life sciences industries preferred
