Civil Litigation Attorney — Los Angeles

An AmLaw 100 full-service firm is seeking an attorney to join its Civil Litigation Practice in Los Angeles. The national practice comprises over 600 attorneys who defend clients in significant exposure cases across numerous civil litigation areas.

The team represents both businesses and individuals—insured and self-insured—in property and personal injury claims, and excels in the litigation and trial of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex matters. Its partners and senior associates are seasoned trial attorneys with broad courtroom experience and national recognition.

The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills and experience in all phases of defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. While defense experience is preferred, the firm is also interested in talented litigators from any arena with substantive experience who seek a growing, collaborative environment.

• At least 1–15 years of experience in all phases of defense litigation
• Strong research and writing skills
• Experience with case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
• Admission to the California Bar
• Defense experience preferred but not required; excellent litigation skills valued
• Partnership consideration available for those with extensive relevant experience
