Seeking an associate to join a busy commercial litigation team in the Los Angeles office of a leading national law firm. The role involves work across the full litigation lifecycle in California state and federal courts, with substantial exposure to discovery, depositions, motion practice and hearings.

The team handles contested matters and is trial-focused; candidates who have trial or trial-preparation experience and who want active courtroom work will be a strong fit. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with opportunities to assume responsibility on client matters.

3–6 years of law firm litigation experience, with work in California state and federal courts
Experience with discovery, depositions, motion drafting and hearings; trial or trial-prep experience a plus
Outstanding writing, research and analytical skills
Strong academic credentials (Top 50 law school preferred)
Admission to the California Bar required
Ability to work collaboratively on a large team and to manage client responsibilities
