A leading global law firm is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join its Singapore office, supporting all aspects of conflicts clearance for new clients, new matters, and lateral candidates.

The role involves daily review and analysis of conflict-of-interest reports, resolving conflicts issues (including obtaining waivers and drafting ethics wall memos), and reviewing new matter requests for compliance with firm policies and applicable rules of professional responsibility. The successful candidate will interface directly with partners regarding approvals and work alongside the firm's General Counsel, Legal Operations leadership, and information governance teams.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing outside counsel guidelines, supervising resolution analysts, conducting staff orientations on the new matter approval process, and developing expertise on conflicts rules across specific practice areas.

Qualified lawyer/solicitor
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a conflicts department
Knowledge of conflict-of-interest principles and professional responsibility rules across jurisdictions
Experience analyzing conflicts and conflict-of-interest law
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
Familiarity with legal software (e.g., Intapp, D&B/Hoovers, CapIQ, BvD) preferred
Technological aptitude and willingness to learn new systems
