An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Immigration Contract Lawyer to join a highly regarded, busy national Employment team on a three-month contract. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and is engaged on a competitive day-rate basis via an Umbrella Company. Applications are processed through a dedicated flexible-resource facility.

You will support clients on a broad range of business immigration matters, working closely with colleagues across a national Employment practice. Day-to-day work includes advising on a varied caseload of business immigration issues such as skilled worker and global mobility visa applications, supporting sponsor licence applications, sponsorship compliance and right to work audits, handling client immigration queries, and providing immigration support on corporate transactions.

This position suits a lawyer with Business Immigration experience, though candidates with a mix of business immigration, personal immigration and employment law experience who are keen to deepen their Business Immigration expertise are also welcome. Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) with 1-4 years' PQE in business immigration, gained from a specialist immigration or wider employment team
Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
Commercially aware with some exposure to business development and client relationship management
Collaborative approach with an interest in developing junior team members
