Corporate M&A Associate — Chicago

Growing corporate practice in a major Chicago office seeks an associate with 3–7 years' experience executing M&A for private and public companies. The role emphasizes drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and supporting complex buy- and sell-side transactions.

Work will include legal research and drafting, transaction management and closings, client interaction, and collaboration with deal teams across practice groups. The position follows a hybrid office model with regular in-office presence and some work-from-home flexibility.

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Illinois.
• 3–7 years of corporate/M&A experience; big‑law transactional experience preferred.
• Demonstrable experience drafting principal acquisition agreements and participating in negotiations.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical and communication skills; ability to manage multiple matters under deadline.
