An opportunity has arisen for a corporate associate to join a market-leading energy and natural resources practice within a global law firm. The role sits at the heart of a busy cross-border transactional team, advising clients on mergers, acquisitions and wider corporate matters across the energy value chain.

Working closely with partners and colleagues across multiple offices, you will help clients navigate complex, often cross-border deals involving conventional and transition energy assets, infrastructure and related corporate transactions. The team is known for handling high-profile strategic and portfolio transactions on an international scale.

This is a genuinely global platform, with the position open across a range of offices and the flexibility to work with clients and counterparties in multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will be supported by a deep bench of specialist lawyers and will have scope to develop a broad, internationally facing practice.

Qualified corporate lawyer with a strong academic and post-qualification record
Demonstrated M&A experience, ideally with exposure to energy, natural resources or infrastructure transactions
Comfortable advising on complex, cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals
Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-management skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an integrated global team
