Leading international law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate associate to join its Houston team focusing on private equity and M&A work. This is a full-time role working on sponsor-backed transactions, portfolio company matters, capital raises, joint ventures and related securities work.

The position offers hands-on transactional experience drafting and negotiating definitive agreements and governance documents and providing day-to-day counsel to portfolio companies. The team works on a range of strategic corporate matters for financial sponsors, portfolio companies and corporate clients.

The firm values strong technical drafting and research skills, commercial judgment, and collaborative, client-focused lawyers. The role encourages professional development and participation in community and bar activities.

4–6 years of post-qualification transactional experience (private equity/M&A focus)
Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, governance documents and other transaction documents
Experience with sponsor-backed transactions, capital raises, joint ventures and securities offerings
Admission to the Texas Bar
Strong academic credentials, superior drafting and research skills, and a collaborative team orientation
