Corporate M&A / Private Equity Associate — Los Angeles

We are seeking talented associates to join a busy Corporate M&A and Private Equity practice in the Los Angeles office of a leading global law firm. The role offers regular exposure to complex buyouts, acquisitions and other transactional matters across private equity and strategic corporate clients.

Successful candidates will work on deal execution, drafting transaction documents, conducting due diligence and coordinating with cross‑functional teams. The team emphasizes high‑quality legal work, collaboration, and professional development in a fast‑paced transactional environment.

• Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and analytical skills
• Experience on M&A, private equity or other transactional matters at a major law firm or top clerkship
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents and conducting due diligence
• Bar admission in California or eligibility to be admitted
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively, and thrive on fast‑paced deal cycles
