Join our Cyber/Data/Privacy practice group as a mid-level associate, working across New York, San Francisco, Seattle, or Washington, DC. Our team of more than 30 attorneys focuses on these issues full time across the US, Europe, and Asia, and is expanding its US practice. The group serves a broad range of clients, including emerging and public companies, leading technology firms, financial institutions, life sciences companies, and national media organizations.

In this role, you will handle a mix of counseling and advisory work, as well as privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate and technology transactions, incident preparedness and response, state and federal investigations, and related litigation. Ideal candidates will have 4–7 years of experience advising clients on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues, either in a law firm or in-house, including:

CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and other privacy law compliance
Information security and privacy due diligence for corporate transactions
Data processing agreements and privacy schedules in commercial transactions
Data breach response and incident response planning

Successful candidates will have strong academic credentials, the ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects, and excellent analytical and writing skills.
