Apply in confidence →An established US technology practice is hiring a mid-level associate to join its national Cyber/Data/Privacy team. The role is open across multiple US offices (including New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, DC) and focuses on advisory work across privacy, data protection and cybersecurity matters.
Work involves counseling clients on compliance with state, federal and international privacy laws, supporting privacy aspects of corporate and technology transactions, and assisting with incident preparedness and response. The team advises a broad client base including emerging and public technology companies, financial services, life sciences and media organizations.

- 4–7 years post-qualification experience in privacy/data protection and cybersecurity counseling (law firm or in-house)
- Practical experience with CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and other privacy regimes; data breach and incident response; privacy due diligence and data processing agreements
- Experience supporting privacy aspects of corporate/technology transactions
- Excellent drafting, analytical skills and comfort working directly with clients
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the United States
