Apply in confidence →Growing Cyber/Data/Privacy practice looking for a mid-level associate (4–7 years' experience) to join US offices on a multi-office basis. The role involves counseling clients across industries on privacy and security matters and supporting transactional, compliance, and incident-response work.
Work will include privacy regulatory compliance (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and similar regimes), privacy and security diligence for corporate and technology transactions, drafting and negotiating data processing and privacy-related commercial provisions, and involvement in breach preparedness and response.
- 4–7 years post-qualification experience advising on privacy, data protection and cybersecurity matters (law firm or in-house)
- Practical experience with CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and other privacy regimes
- Experience with privacy/security due diligence, data processing agreements, privacy schedules, and incident response planning
- Excellent legal research, drafting and client-facing skills; strong academic credentials and active bar membership
