We are seeking a talented associate to join our Cyber/Data/Privacy practice group, working from one of our New York, San Francisco, Seattle, or Washington, DC offices. Our team is composed of over 30 dedicated attorneys across the US, Europe, and Asia, and we are actively expanding our US practice.

You will advise a diverse client base that includes emerging and public companies, leading technology companies, financial institutions, life sciences companies, and national media companies on a wide range of privacy and cybersecurity matters.

The role involves both counseling and advisory work as well as privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate and technology transactions, incident preparedness and response, state and federal investigations, and litigation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, dynamic team at the forefront of data privacy law.

4–7 years of experience advising clients on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues, gained at a law firm or in-house
Strong knowledge of CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and other privacy laws
Experience with information security and privacy due diligence for corporate transactions
Familiarity with data processing agreements and privacy schedules in commercial transactions
Experience with data breach response and incident response planning
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
Ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects
Very strong analytical and writing skills
