A leading law firm is seeking junior debt finance attorneys to join its Finance & Banking practice. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors across a range of debt financing transactions, with an emphasis on secured lending.

Attorneys in this position will take on meaningful responsibility throughout the life of a deal, including closing transactions and preparing documentation and issues lists. The practice supports work across acquisition financing, debt securities offerings and general corporate matters, giving juniors broad exposure to complex financing work.

1–3 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions
Working knowledge of secured lending transactions
Experience with closing transactions and drafting documents and issues lists
Familiarity with Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, acquisition financing (including commitment letters), and debt securities offerings (including high yield and/or convertible notes) preferred
JD or equivalent and demonstrated high academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
Training and development experience at a large law firm
Ability to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
