We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Counsel with 7+ years of experience to join our Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Department. This role focuses on the welfare-side of employee benefits advice and counsel practice, offering the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking legal projects in a team-based environment.

The position is based in Chicago, Illinois, and offers a collaborative and professional workplace with state-of-the-art technology and a strong commitment to professional development.

7+ years of employee benefits experience in health and welfare plans, including HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, mental health parity, cafeteria plans, flexible spending accounts, severance plans, and related compliance and counseling work
Top law firm experience, or a combination of law firm and in-house experience
Excellent academic credentials
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Admission to the Illinois Bar (or the ability to waive into the Illinois Bar)
