A highly regarded law firm is seeking a midlevel associate to join its Employee Benefits practice. The role involves advising on employee benefits and executive compensation matters, with a strong emphasis on issues arising in M&A transactions.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle both M&A-related and non-M&A employee benefits work, including designing, drafting, and operating qualified pension, defined contribution, health and welfare, executive employment, nonqualified deferred compensation, and equity compensation plans and agreements.

This position is open across multiple U.S. offices and offers a dynamic practice with exposure to sophisticated, high-level benefits and compensation matters.

3–5 years of law firm experience in employee benefits and executive compensation
Strong skills and experience advising on employee benefits/executive compensation issues in M&A transactions
Experience or willingness to handle non-M&A employee benefits and executive compensation matters, including plan design, drafting, and operation
Bar membership required
Excellent academic credentials
