We are seeking experienced employment lawyers to join a flexible legal resourcing platform associated with a leading global law firm. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients on complex employment and labor matters, with the flexibility to control how, when, and where you work.

The role involves advising on a broad spectrum of employment law issues, including employee relations, employment litigation and investigations, compliance matters (such as discrimination, privacy, and safety laws), collective bargaining and industrial relations, and corporate transactions and restructurings. You will also handle safety law issues, disciplinary actions, terminations, complex staff complaints, industrial disputes, enterprise bargaining, and grievance procedures.

Ideal candidates will have experience with large-scale remediation projects, payroll compliance programs, and dealing with employment regulators. The ability to manage complex matters in large organizations, influence stakeholders, and simplify legal issues is essential. This is a consulting or contract role, offering the chance to work autonomously and hit the ground running.

Minimum 5 years' experience in employment law
Current Australian practising certificate
Right to live and work in Australia
Expertise in employment law areas such as employee relations, litigation, investigations, compliance, collective bargaining, and IR
Experience with safety law, disciplinary issues, terminations, and complex staff complaints
Familiarity with large-scale remediation projects and payroll compliance
Experience dealing with employment regulators including the Fair Work Ombudsman and IR Commission
Strong legal judgment, commercial acumen, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Proactive, responsive, and solutions-focused working style
