A global law firm's flexible legal resourcing platform is seeking experienced employment lawyers in Melbourne to support a consistent stream of client demand. Opportunities are available for both seasoned consultants/contract lawyers and lawyers looking to move into a consulting role.

Engagements cover a broad range of employment law issues, including employee relations, employment litigation and investigations, advisory and compliance work (such as discrimination, privacy, and safety laws), collective bargaining and industrial relations, and corporate transactions and restructurings.

A minimum of 5 years' employment law experience.
Specialist expertise across a broad range of employment law issues, including employee relations, litigation and investigations, advisory and compliance (discrimination, privacy, safety), collective bargaining/IR, and corporate transactions and restructurings.
Familiarity with safety law, disciplinary matters, termination, complex staff complaints, industrial disputes, enterprise bargaining, and grievance handling.
Experience advising on Work Health Safety laws and anti-discrimination matters, including dealings with employment regulators.
Ability to manage complex employment matters in large organisations and influence, negotiate, and simplify complex legal issues.
Confidence liaising with multiple internal stakeholders and managing external-facing issues.
Strong legal judgement, commercial acumen, and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
A current Australian practising certificate and the right to live and work in Australia.
