Well-established national labor & employment practice seeks an associate to join its Indianapolis office to defend employers in employment litigation and administrative matters. The role focuses on representing management in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage/hour, contract and related disputes, including individual and collective/class actions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include defending lawsuits and agency charges, conducting discovery, drafting briefs, appearing in court and administrative forums, and counseling and training employer clients on workplace policies and risk reduction. The team handles litigation, mediations, and arbitrations and advises on compliance with state and federal employment laws.

  • JD from an ABA‑accredited law school and strong academic record
  • 3+ years of employment or commercial litigation experience; employment law background preferred
  • Active IN bar admission in good standing
  • Familiarity with state and federal agency procedures and employer-side litigation
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational and project management skills
