Apply in confidence →Trusted global law firm is seeking an associate to join its Tax practice focused on executive compensation and employee benefits. The role is open in the firm s Washington, D.C., Boston or New York offices.
The successful candidate will work on federal income and employment tax aspects of executive compensation arrangements, deferred compensation and equity-based plans, and related employee benefits issues. Work will include counseling clients, drafting plan documents and opinions, and coordinating with transactional and benefits colleagues across offices.
- 3-6 years post-JD experience in executive compensation/employee benefits or related tax work
- Juris Doctor and admission to a U.S. bar (or willingness to become licensed)
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal income and employment tax rules affecting executive compensation and equity plans
- Strong drafting, analytical and client-facing skills; ability to work collaboratively across practice teams
