Apply in confidence →Join a national tax practice seeking an associate with 3–6 years of post-JD experience to support executive compensation and employee benefits work. The role is open to candidates for the Washington, D.C., Boston or New York offices.
Work will focus on tax and ERISA-related aspects of executive compensation and employee benefits matters, advising employers on plan design, compliance and transactional issues alongside experienced tax and benefits lawyers.
- 3–6 years post-JD experience, with substantial exposure to executive compensation, employee benefits and ERISA matters
- Strong knowledge of the tax rules affecting executive compensation and employee benefits
- Experience drafting plan documents, agreements, and client memos; strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams in a high‑quality practice
