Apply in confidence →Top-tier New York office seeks an Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits associate to join its transactional ERISA/compensation team. The role involves counseling on complex compensation and benefits issues across corporate transactions and restructurings.
Work will include drafting and negotiating executive pay provisions and equity arrangements in connection with change-in-control events, public and private equity transactions, bankruptcies, asset sales, IPOs and financings. Experience with SEC disclosure of executive compensation and public-company matters is preferred.
- 3–6 years' experience in executive compensation, employee benefits or related transactional work.
- Experience advising on compensation and equity arrangements in M&A, financings, IPOs, restructurings or bankruptcy contexts.
- Strong drafting skills and familiarity with SEC disclosure and executive compensation reporting (preferred).
- Juris Doctor and admission to practice in New York (or eligibility to obtain NY admission).
