An Am Law 100 firm seeks an associate to join its Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Compliance practice group. The role is open across multiple offices and offers the opportunity to work closely with clients navigating complex regulatory frameworks, launching innovative financial products, and managing regulatory risk in rapidly evolving industries.

The team advises depository institutions, mortgage lenders, auto finance companies, specialty lenders, Fintechs, payment processors, service providers, and other consumer finance market participants on a broad range of state and federal regulatory compliance matters. This is a hands-on position with direct client contact and substantive work.

2–5 years of experience in financial services compliance or a related practice area
Familiarity with state and federal consumer financial services laws and related regulatory frameworks governing origination, servicing, collection and asset recovery, and licensing
Experience advising financial institutions, Fintech companies, specialty lenders, or other regulated financial services providers is preferred
Excellent legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Admission to practice in the jurisdiction where the candidate will reside and work, or eligibility to become admitted promptly upon hire
