Our client, a market-leading financial services practice, is seeking a midlevel associate to join its New York team. This role focuses on fund finance and derivatives work, representing commercial and investment banks in a broad range of financing and derivatives transactions for hedge funds, private equity funds, and registered investment companies.

Draft financing documents for complex, highly structured transactions.
Manage client relationships and move transactions forward independently.
Collaborate with a rapidly growing, market-leading practice on bespoke matters.

Ideal candidates will have experience at a financial institution or law firm involving secured lending and/or derivatives, and a demonstrated ability to handle sophisticated transactions. J.D. and New York Bar admission are required.

J.D. and admission to the New York Bar.
Experience at a financial institution or law firm with secured lending and/or derivatives.
Strong drafting skills for complex financing documentation.
Ability to manage client relationships and drive transactions independently.
