A leading law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Financial Services Regulatory practice, focusing on sophisticated technology and commercial transactions for clients across the fintech, payments, cryptocurrency and digital assets sectors.

The role centers on drafting and negotiating complex technology and commercial agreements — including technology licensing, SaaS and cloud services agreements, strategic partnerships and other commercial arrangements. You will collaborate closely with regulatory and corporate colleagues to help clients structure and launch innovative products and commercial relationships at the intersection of technology and financial services regulation.

Ideal candidates bring transactional experience involving fintech and digital asset products and platforms, such as bank-fintech partnerships, payments, blockchain, cryptocurrency, stablecoins, tokenization, custody or related infrastructure. The position offers significant responsibility, direct client contact and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge matters.

At least 5 years of experience with sophisticated technology and commercial transactions
Particular experience advising clients in fintech, payments, cryptocurrency and/or digital assets
Strong drafting and negotiation skills for complex technology and commercial agreements (licensing, SaaS, cloud services, strategic partnerships)
Comfort collaborating with regulatory and corporate lawyers on product structuring and launches
Strong academic credentials and sound commercial judgment
Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters and client relationships
Prior experience at a nationally recognized firm with a technology transactions, fintech and/or digital assets practice preferred
