A leading law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Financial Services Regulatory practice in New York. The role focuses on sophisticated technology and commercial transactions, advising clients across the fintech, payments, cryptocurrency and digital assets sectors.

The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience drafting and negotiating complex technology and commercial agreements, including technology licensing, SaaS and cloud services agreements, strategic partnerships and other commercial arrangements. Exposure to transactions involving fintech and digital asset products and platforms — such as bank-fintech partnerships, payments, blockchain, cryptocurrency, stablecoins, tokenization, custody or related infrastructure — is particularly desirable.

This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and financial services regulation, collaborating closely with regulatory and corporate lawyers to help clients structure and launch innovative products and commercial relationships. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound commercial judgment and the ability to independently manage sophisticated matters and client relationships.

At least five years of experience with sophisticated technology and commercial transactions
Prior experience advising clients in the fintech, payments, cryptocurrency and/or digital assets sectors
Strong drafting and negotiation skills for complex technology and commercial agreements
Experience with technology licensing, SaaS, cloud services and strategic partnerships
Comfort working with regulatory and corporate lawyers on product structuring
Excellent academic credentials and sound commercial judgment
Experience at a nationally recognized law firm with a technology transactions, fintech and/or digital assets practice preferred
