We are seeking a mid-level associate to join our Government Contracts practice, handling a broad range of matters including bid protests, claims litigation, investigations, compliance, and M&A due diligence involving government contractors.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, supportive environment on complex and high-stakes matters for a leading global firm.
- 4-5 years of experience in a government contracts practice, or equivalent experience handling procurement issues for a federal agency
- Experience as a lead associate on government contract litigation, investigations, and/or diligence matters
- Law school coursework in government contracts and/or a clerkship with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, Federal Circuit, or Boards of Contract Appeals is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized with acute attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong business judgment and client-management skills
- Admission to practice in Washington, DC (or ability to become admitted promptly)
- JD from an accredited law school
