Am Law 200 firm seeks a lateral partner to join and help build its Government Contracts practice in Washington, D.C. This is a priority growth area for the firm, and the incoming partner will have the opportunity to help shape the group's strategy and play a meaningful role in its development.
The firm offers a single-tier equity partnership, with lateral partners entering as equity partners immediately. It describes its culture as entrepreneurial and provides hands-on support to help partners grow their books from day one—through integration teams, client introductions, and cross-selling opportunities.
The ideal candidate is an established Government Contracts partner with a predominantly government-focused practice, including bid-protest and claims work. A demonstrated interest in building client relationships and developing a practice is essential. The firm is open to considering a team where the economics are sustainable.
- Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
- Established Government Contracts practice, with a focus on procurement, bid protests, and claims.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Interest in helping to shape and grow the practice group.
- Leadership potential is a plus, though not a guaranteed title.
