A leading US law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its government contracts practice in its Huntsville, Alabama office. The position focuses on government contracts work, including bid protests, claims, and disputes, with exposure to investigations and oversight involving government contractors as well as transactions involving government contractors.

At least 3–4 years of significant government contracts experience, including bid protests, claims, and disputes
Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other procurement laws
Admission to the Alabama Bar
Residency in the Huntsville, AL area at or before the time of hire
In-office presence at least three business days per week
Excellent academic background and outstanding writing abilities
Preferred: experience with investigations, oversight, or transactions involving government contractors
Preferred: former military/JAG experience
