Health Law Associate — M&A & Regulatory

Mid-level associate opportunity within a national health law practice supporting transactional and regulatory matters across the health care industry. The role is open to candidates for the firm's Washington, DC, New York, or Los Angeles offices and will involve collaborative, cross-disciplinary work with senior attorneys and other practice teams.

Typical work includes supporting health care M&A execution and due diligence, regulatory analysis and counseling, and drafting and negotiating health care-related commercial and transaction documents. The team handles matters for payors, PBMs, providers, pharmacies, manufacturers, and other industry participants.

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted or eligible for admission in DC, New York, or California
• At least 3 years of relevant health care law experience (health care M&A, regulatory counseling, and/or contracting)
• Experience with transactional tasks: due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and regulatory issue-spotting
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating health care industry contracts (provider, pharmacy, managed care, PBM, vendor/service agreements)
• Strong judgment, organization, written and oral communication skills, and ability to manage process-driven workstreams
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior attorneys and cross-disciplinary teams
