Apply in confidence →Seeking a Special Counsel to join a national health law team advising health plans, payors and other stakeholders on pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) and pharmaceutical supply‑chain contracting and related regulatory issues. The role will support commercial contracting, PBM procurements, contract administration and dispute matters with partner oversight.
This is a hybrid role open to candidates in New York or Washington, DC. The position requires regular drafting and negotiating of complex PBM- and vendor-related agreements, supervising associates on contracting matters, and serving as a primary client contact (occasional travel to client sites may be required).
- JD or LLM from an ABA‑accredited law school
- Admitted to or eligible for admission in New York or Washington, DC
- Substantial transactional/commercial contracting experience in managed care, PBMs or the pharmaceutical supply chain
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex vendor and PBM agreements and managing multiple contract workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organization and attention to detail
- Able to work collaboratively in team settings; expected to be in-office approximately 60% of the time
