Our client, a national law firm with a strong healthcare litigation practice, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its New Jersey office. This role focuses on complex litigation in state and federal court, as well as arbitration, with a particular emphasis on defending health insurers in payor-provider disputes. Experience with ERISA litigation is a plus, and significant handling of healthcare-related cases is highly preferred.

Ideal candidates will be team players with excellent litigation, writing, and research skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Trial experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with priority given to those also admitted in Pennsylvania.

  • 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance defense
  • Experience in state and federal court litigation and arbitration
  • Experience defending health insurers in payor-provider litigation is highly preferred
  • ERISA litigation experience is a plus
  • Strong academic background and proven research skills
  • Excellent writing and persuasive speaking skills
  • Team player with the ability to handle assignments with minimal supervision
  • Licensed and admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania
