A nationally recognized healthcare practice is seeking a Healthcare Transactions Associate to join its deal teams. The role centers on advising clients through healthcare and legal management services organization transactions, with a preferred base in Nashville, Chicago, or Houston; the position is open across the firm's offices nationwide.

As an integral member of transaction teams, the associate will draft and negotiate transaction documents, manage due diligence, coordinate specialist review, and supervise junior associates. The work spans sophisticated matters for clients across the healthcare industry, offering close collaboration with an experienced healthcare transactions team.

Candidates must be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, in the state where they reside, and are expected in the office at least three business days per week.

2–6 years of general corporate and M&A experience
Healthcare transactions experience strongly preferred
Private practice or law firm experience preferred; private equity experience a plus
Relevant in-house transactional experience will also be considered
Strong drafting, negotiation, organizational, and project management skills
Sound judgment, close attention to detail, and collaborative approach in a fast-paced transactional setting
Strong academic background with immediately transferable corporate/M&A skills
Active bar membership in the state of residence, or ability to waive in
