Apply in confidence →We are seeking a real estate associate with 3–5 years of relevant experience to join a national hospitality and leisure practice. The role will support hotel and resort owners, developers, investors, lenders, brands, operators, and management companies in sophisticated real estate transactions, including hospitality matters and development projects such as condominium, branded residential, mixed-use, and master planned communities.
The associate will work closely with partners and clients across the full lifecycle of hospitality and development projects—from structuring, diligence, acquisition, and financing through development, operation, and disposition. This position offers meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to develop industry-focused experience within a collaborative, cross-office practice.
This is a multi-office opening; candidates may indicate their preferred office location among the available options.
- 3–5 years of relevant real estate experience
- Substantive experience with hotel and hospitality transactions, including negotiating hotel management agreements and handling hotel/resort acquisitions, dispositions, and financings, and/or developer-side experience with condominium and master planned community projects
- Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, licenses, loan agreements, and related financing documents, and/or advising developers of sophisticated mixed-use projects, including drafting easements, declarations, CC&Rs, development-related agreements, and property management agreements
- Experience with real estate development and joint venture transactions is a plus
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; sound judgment; and ability to manage multiple transactional workstreams effectively
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice
- Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the hiring office is located will be required as a condition of employment
