We are seeking a midlevel associate with one to five years of patent prosecution experience to join a robust intellectual property practice focused on life sciences.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in a life sciences technology area and will be a member of the patent bar (USPTO Registration Number). If not already registered, the candidate must prepare for, take, and pass the patent bar exam either prior to joining or within the first 12 months of employment.

This role is based in Orange County and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated patent prosecution matters for clients in biotechnology and life sciences. The position offers a competitive compensation package, including medical, financial, and other benefits, with an expected salary range of $225,000 to $365,000 for California-based positions. The final salary will be determined based on various factors including experience, expertise, and market conditions.
