Investment Funds Associate — Finance & Banking (Los Angeles)

Leading national law firm seeks a funds-focused associate to join its Los Angeles Investment Funds team. The group advises private equity sponsors and other asset managers on fund formations, GP-stakes transactions, secondaries and related corporate transactional work.

The role offers exposure to a broad mix of fund formation and sponsor-side transactional matters, working closely with deal teams on structuring, documentation and closings. Strong candidates will have demonstrated experience on fund formation or corporate transactions and an interest in investment management workstreams.

The team is collaborative and handles high-value, complex matters for institutional clients; this role is appropriate for associates who want to deepen their funds and sponsor-side transactional practice in a major market.

• 2–6 years of post-qualification transactional experience (fund formation, corporate/M&A, or capital markets).
• Experience with fund documentation, sponsor-side representation, secondaries or GP-stakes transactions preferred.
• Strong drafting and deal-execution skills; ability to manage multiple matters and client interactions.
• Juris Doctor and active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
