An Am Law 20 firm is hiring an associate-level attorney to join its Investment Funds Group, focusing on fund formation. This is a professional-track, non-partnership-track role open across multiple US offices.

The position involves representing clients in fund formation matters, including drafting and negotiating fund organizational documents, investor side letters, and coordinating investor closings. Experience with secondaries transactions is a plus.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative yet independent self-starter with strong analytical and writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, sound business judgment, and excellent organizational abilities. The firm offers a hybrid work environment with regular in-office presence and some flexibility for remote work.

1–3 years of experience representing clients in fund formation matters
Experience drafting and negotiating fund organizational documents, investor side letters, and coordinating investor closings
Secondaries experience preferred but not required
Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills with close attention to detail
Good business judgment and ability to work both collaboratively and independently
JD required; direct Am Law 100 law firm experience preferred
