Top-tier international law firm is recruiting a Senior Associate to join a national Intellectual Property practice focusing on life sciences matters. The role offers work on both patent prosecution and patent litigation across a range of biotechnology and pharmaceutical technologies.

This position is open to candidates across multiple US offices, with common bases including Boston, Denver, New York, Palo Alto or Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will work with experienced IP teams on technical counseling, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing opinions, and supporting contested matters.

J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in the United States
Significant experience in patent prosecution and experience supporting or leading patent litigation matters in the life sciences or biotech space
Scientific or technical background in life sciences (Ph.D., M.S., or equivalent technical degree preferred)
Strong drafting, analytical and client-facing skills; ability to work across multi-office teams
