The role will focus on Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear work, including licensing, export controls, and related regulatory filings.
Work regularly touches federal agencies and proceedings (e.g., FERC, NRC, DOE) and sits at the intersection of law, policy and commercial transactions. The team handles novel, first-of-a-kind matters and cross-disciplinary projects; the role suits a candidate who enjoys regulatory analysis, project-focused work, and collaboration across practice groups.
- 2–4 years' substantive experience in energy regulatory matters, with direct NRC or DOE nuclear experience preferred
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and active U.S. bar membership
- Strong regulatory drafting and analytical skills; experience with administrative proceedings or federal agency filings a plus
- Team-oriented, able to manage multiple matters and communicate with technical and policy stakeholders
