Junior Associate — Private Equity Debt Finance, New York

Top-tier New York office seeking a junior associate to join a busy Debt Finance group focused on private equity-related financings. The role involves representing private equity sponsors, banks and private credit lenders on term and revolving loan facilities used for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth transactions.

Candidates will work on drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment papers and related collateral and security documentation, and will collaborate across deal teams in a collegial, team-oriented environment. Relevant bar admission (or prompt eligibility) is required.

• Experience representing private equity sponsors, banks or private credit lenders on leveraged finance transactions
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment papers and collateral/security documentation
• Outstanding academic credentials and prior experience at a comparable law firm preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Admission to the relevant state bar, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
