Labor Associate — Employment & Labor — Portland

One of the nation's largest labor and employment law firms is seeking an experienced labor attorney to join its traditional labor law practice group in the Portland, Oregon office. This is a shareholder-track role that offers immediate substantive client work and a clear path toward professional growth and practice development.

The position is designed for an attorney ready to assume meaningful responsibility from the outset. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with seasoned labor practitioners on complex matters while maintaining direct client engagement. As those relationships mature, there is a defined path to expanded practice responsibilities and a leadership role within the group.

The office houses one of the most active labor and employment practices in the Pacific Northwest and is expanding to meet growing client demand, creating genuine opportunity for upward trajectory. The role is available as a traditional shareholder-track position or, for candidates requiring greater flexibility, as a reduced-hours or non-shareholder-track position.

• Juris Doctor required.
• Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Oregon, or actively seeking admission to the Oregon bar (with continuing licensure requirements met during employment).
• Candidates must possess traditional labor experience, including arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings, collective bargaining and related labor and employment matters.
• Excellent public speaking and writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and work independently.
