Labor Relations Associate — Labor & Employment

Seeking a Labor Relations Associate to join a busy employer-side labor & employment team with positions open in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle or Portland). The role focuses on traditional labor matters, collective bargaining and labor arbitration, with a mix of litigation, administrative representation, and counseling.

Responsibilities include handling representation proceedings and unfair labor practice matters before the NLRB, defending and prosecuting labor disputes in state and federal forums and before labor arbitrators, advising clients on collective bargaining and workplace labor issues, and assisting with related employment compliance matters.

Remote flexibility is limited by jurisdictional requirements; candidates should be able to practice in Washington or Oregon (or be able to waive in), and will routinely interact with administrative agencies and arbitrators across the region.

• 6–8 years of traditional labor practice experience representing employers
• Proven experience with NLRB representation proceedings and unfair labor practice investigations and litigation
• Experience counseling on collective bargaining, labor arbitration, union organizing, strikes/picketing, and labor injunctions
• Admissions: active Washington or Oregon bar admission, or ability to waive in (admission in both states preferred)
• Strong drafting and analytical skills; excellent writing and attention to detail
