Labor & Employment Associate — Los Angeles

Well-established national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate for its Los Angeles office. The role focuses on defense-side employment litigation and counseling, handling a docket that includes single-plaintiff matters, wage-and-hour disputes, PAGA claims and class-action work.

The successful candidate will work with senior attorneys on day-to-day case management and independently handle motions, discovery, and depositions. This is a hands-on litigation role with opportunities to support employment counseling and regulatory matters.

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice in California
• 5–7 years of labor & employment litigation experience
• Experience defending discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour, and reasonable accommodation claims
• Experience with PAGA matters and class actions
• Proven drafting and briefing skills (pleadings, discovery, dispositive and discovery motions)
• Experience taking and defending depositions, including plaintiff and corporate witness depositions
• Ability to manage day-to-day case responsibilities with moderate independence and collaboratively with senior attorneys; strong research and writing skills
