Established, regionally focused law firm is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow its Compliance & Regulatory practice in Albany. The role is client-facing and practice-building, handling regulatory matters across state and federal frameworks and advising corporate and institutional clients.

The successful candidate will manage and mentor a small team, work collaboratively across practice groups, and play a central role in expanding the practice’s footprint. A portable practice or demonstrable client development capability is welcome.

Admitted to practice in New York (or eligible); active bar membership.
Extensive regulatory and compliance experience; track record advising on state and federal regulatory matters.
Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships; portable book of business a plus.
Experience supervising junior lawyers and working across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong written and oral advocacy, commercial judgment, and business development skills.
