Lateral Partner — Corporate & M&A, Los Angeles

Senior partner hire to lead and expand a busy corporate practice with strong focus on M&A, private equity and capital markets, and significant cross-practice interaction with technology, IP and litigation teams. The role will work with established industry sectors including life sciences, technology, financial services and energy.

The team prioritizes candidates who can originate and manage complex transactions, advise issuers and sponsors on capital markets and PE matters, and develop technology-transaction and IP-related work streams. The role offers partnership leadership responsibility and opportunities to build a regional team.

• Portable book of business of $4M+ (USD)
• Proven track record leading M&A, PE and capital markets transactions
• Experience advising technology and life-sciences clients and working with IP and litigation teams
• Strong client origination and team leadership skills
• Active bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or ability to qualify quickly
