Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow an employment and labor practice in the Chattanooga office of a leading US law firm. The role focuses on advising employers on workplace compliance, counseling, and representation in labor and employment disputes.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative regional team and will handle a mix of preventive counseling and litigation matters across state and federal venues. This is an opportunity to shape a market-facing practice and mentor junior lawyers.

Portable client relationships and a demonstrable trajectory of business development are welcome; the hiring group values candidates who can contribute existing work and expand client coverage.

Established partner-level experience in labor and employment law, including counseling and litigation.
Proven track record of client development and ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills; able to manage matters and supervise associates.
Admission to practice in the relevant state(s) and good standing.
