Leading regional office seeks a partner to join and expand its Energy & Environmental practice in Chattanooga. The role will advise corporate, public-sector and project clients on energy transactions, regulatory compliance, permitting and environmental risk matters, while helping to develop a cross-practice industry offering.

The position requires hands-on client work, matter management and mentoring of more junior lawyers. The team handles a mix of transactional, regulatory and compliance matters for developers, utilities and other energy-sector participants.

Open to candidates nationwide. Candidates with a portable practice or established client relationships in the energy or environmental sectors are encouraged to apply.

Established partner or counsel with significant experience in energy and environmental law
Track record of client development and managing complex matters or transactions
Experience supervising and mentoring associates and staff
Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s) and good professional standing
