Established national law firm seeks a partner to join its Energy and Environmental practice in the Charlotte office. The role will handle a mix of project- and transaction-focused matters for energy and infrastructure clients, working with a cross-office team on complex regulatory and permitting issues.

Ideal candidate will take a leadership role in growing the regional practice, managing client relationships and mentoring junior lawyers. A portable practice or proven ability to originate and develop business in the energy/infrastructure sector is welcome.

Partner-level experience in energy and/or environmental law, with significant transactional or regulatory work on infrastructure projects.
Proven track record of business development and client relationship management; portable book of business is a plus.
Admissions or ability to obtain admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
Experience supervising teams and mentoring associates; strong communication and commercial judgment.
